Another great stoner band from Athens in Greece. LORD 13 were formed in 1999 by Dee (bass), Costas (drums), Jim (vocals, guitars) and John (guitars). Shortly after their first few lives they made a name for themselves as a high energy, live, heavy rock band. Bikes, chicks and heavy fuckin rock'n'roll!

Unida

Unida was an American stoner rock band that was formed after the dissolution of Kyuss and Slo Burn. The band originally consisted of John Garcia (vocals), Arthur Seay (guitar), Miguel Cancino (drums) and Dave Dinsmore (bass). Dinsmore was later replaced by Scott Reeder, who was in turn replaced by Eddie Plascencia. Paul Gray of Slipknot fame also played with the band as a touring bassist.

In Flames We Trust !!!

In Flames is a Swedish heavy metal band from Gothenburg, formed in 1990. In Flames passed a long way from melodic death metal (which genre they create along with At the Gates and Dark Tranquility), to their own unique sound, what is a feature characteristic of great bands. One of the greatest metal bands, IN FLAMES!!!

Black River

Black River is awesome stoner band from Poland. Formed in 2008 by members of famous Polish metal bands like Rootwater, Behemoth, Neolithic, Hunter, it's kinda supergroup, for sure their music is super. Really great band!

Brain Police

"We come from the land of ice and snow..." Based in Reykjavik Iceland Brain Police is fueled by a desire to play dirty, kick ass rock and roll - saids note on their myspace profile. And it's true, they really kick ass!

Corruption

Corruption was formed in 1991 in Sandomierz, Poland. Starting from mix of doom and death metal they turn to stoner metal. And they're playing it good. Very good. Check them out!

Nebula was a psychedelic stoner rock band, formed by guitarist Eddie Glass and drummer Ruben Romano after departing from Fu Manchu in 1997. A lot of great stoner music...

Brand New Sin

Brand New Sin is a Hard rock/Southern rock band from Syracuse, New York. Really awesome band, if you don't know them, you should check them out. They're worth it. Brand New Sin record the best version of "House of the Rising Sun" that I've heard.

Hogjaw!!!

It's hard to say how amazing this band is, really. Hogjaw was formed in 2006 in Arizona. Band is playing pure southern rock, they released to great albums as far, "Devil in the Details" in 2008 and "Ironwood" in 2010.  Must have for southern rock fans...

Texas Hippie Coalition

Texas Hippie Coalition is a band out of Denison, Texas. THC is made of lead vocalist Big Dad Ritch, bassist John Exall, guitarist Randy Cooper, drummer Tim Braun. “We’re as southern as southern can be,” says ‘Big Dad’ Ritch, the behemoth front man and driving force behind Texas Hippie Coalition. “Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, ZZ Top, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson – we’re as outlaw as we can get, while at the same time having the power of that Texas groove, like Pantera. We’re metal with a southern rock and roll spirit. We are a band of outlaws.” 

Birch Hill Dam

"Birch Hill Dam is a heavy rock n roll band, located in the dense forests of Massachusetts. Their first full length album, which is self titled, was released in early 2009. The band has recently released their 2nd full length album, titled "Colossus", and are currently playing out in support of it." - said note on Reverbnation about this band. It's damn hard to find some info about them. But I know one thing, they fucking rocks! Great piece of stoner metal!

Watch out! Bushfire!

Bushfire is a revelation from Germany. Band was formed in late months of 2004 and combine blues, stoner, doom and southern rock. After three demo albums, in October, 2010 they released "BLACK ASH SUNDAY" - very motherfuckin awesome record! The title song is one from my favourite at all. Really worth to check!

Sons of Kyuss...

Kyuss is a stoner legend, formed in Palm Desert, California in the late 1980s. After releasing an EP under the name Sons of Kyuss in 1990, the band shortened its name to Kyuss. Former members was John Garcia, Josh Homme, Nick Oliveri, Chris Cockrell and Brant Bjork. Kyuss split up in 1995, and since then, members of Kyuss have gone on to form or play in several notable bands including Queens of the Stone Age, Fu Manchu, Dwarves, Brant Bjork, Eagles of Death Metal, Mondo Generator, Hermano, Unida, Slo Burn and Them Crooked Vultures.

Planet of Zeus

Planet of Zeus was formed in 2000 in Athens, Greece. They're playing southern/stoner, rock/metal, and they do it fucking awesome!!! This band really kick ass! You will hear it, you will love it!

Confused Little Girl is another great young band from Orlando, FL. Heavy, groovey southern riffs, awesome vocal, great melodies, bass and drums... This shit will crush you!!!

When I heard them first time I thought, what the fuck, Pantera had child? I can't describe it, you should taste it by yourself...

American Witch

This young band is on many music blogs nowadays. American Witch was formed in Northern CA. in 2010. Band released their debut album "Burn The Crow" mid October 2011 without any label. As they say their influences range from Skynyrd to Corrosion of Conformity, from Black Sabbath to Pantera. And u can hear that in their music, heavy as fuck southern/groove punch in your face! Check it out!

FIVE HORSE JOHNSON

Five Horse Johnson is an American blues-rock band, formed in 1995 from Toledo, Ohio. Awesome combination of hard rock, blues and a few other genres gives us first league stoner band. For fans of Clutch, Halfway To Gone, King Hobo, Sasquatch etc, it is "must know" band.

MACHINE FUCKING HEAD!!!

Robb Flynn and Adam Duce formed Machine Head on October 12, 1991 in Oakland, California. Flynn left Vio-Lence cause of internal conflicts and along with Duce recruited guitarist Logan Mader and drummer Tony Costanza to form Machine Head. The band's name was thought of by Flynn because it "sounded cool", despite the popular belief that it came from the Deep Purple album of the same name. Band recorded a demo and soon get signed to Roadrunner Records. Before release debut album Burn My Eyes, Constanza left the band and was replaced by Chris Kontos. There was 4 more line up changes in history of Machine Head, but core stay the same. Mix of Pantera groove and thrash aggression gives us Machine Fucking Head!!!
