High on Fire is a metal band from Oakland, California, that was formed in 1998. Matt Pike, the band's frontman and founder, also plays guitar for the influential stoner doom band Sleep.

Panic Cell was British heavy/thrash metal band formed by singer Luke Bell, guitarists Kenji Downes and Harj Virdee and drummer Lee Turner from the ruins of two london based bands Exile and Downtrodden.

Adrenaline Mob

Adrenaline Mob is a heavy metal supergroup formed by singer Russell Allen (Symphony X), guitarist Mike Orlando and drummer Mike Portnoy (Ex-Dream Theater). The band was formed in early 2011 and performed their first live performance on June 24, 2011 at the Hiro Ballroom in New York City, with the addition of bass player Paul Di Leo (Fozzy), and rhythm guitarist Rich Ward (Stuck Mojo/Fozzy).

Megadeth

Megadeth is an American thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California which was formed in 1983 by Dave Mustaine and Dave Ellefson, after Mustaine's expulsion from Metallica. The band has since released 13 studio albums. A pioneer of the American thrash metal movement, Megadeth rose to international fame in the 1980s and was ranked as one of the "Big Four of Thrash" along with Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax, who were responsible for creating, developing and popularizing the thrash metal sub-genre.

Sepultura

Sepultura (Portuguese for "grave") is a Brazilian metal band from Belo Horizonte, formed in 1984. The band was a major force in the death metal, thrash metal and groove metal genres during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their later experiments melding nu metal, hardcore punk and industrial metal.

Godsmack

Godsmack is an American heavy metal band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band is composed of founder, frontman and songwriter Sully Erna, guitarist Tony Rombola, bassist Robbie Merrill, and drummer Shannon Larkin.

Damageplan

Damageplan was an American heavy metal band from Dallas, Texas that formed in 2003. Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott wanted to start a new band. The pair recruited former Halford guitarist Pat Lachman on vocals, and later Bob Zilla on bass. Damageplan released its debut album New Found Power in the United States on February 10, 2004, which debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200, selling 44,676 copies in its first week.

Lamb Of God

Lamb of God is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1990, the group consists of vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Chris Adler. The band is considered to be a part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement.

Corrosion of Conformity

Corrosion of Conformity (also known as C.O.C.) is an American metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina formed in 1982. For almost the majority of its existence, the band has consisted of guitarist Woody Weatherman, bassist Mike Dean (who left in 1987 but rejoined six years later), drummer Reed Mullin (who left in 2001 but rejoined nine years later) and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Pepper Keenan (who joined the band in 1989). After a hiatus in 2006, Corrosion of Conformity returned in 2010, without Keenan who is currently in Down (although it has been disputed whether Keenan has left the band).

On A Pale Horse

Jerry Spargur and Jeremy Easley formed a heavy/stoner metal band in 2001, On A Pale Horse. The band released three studio albums, Black is Not the Darkest Colour (2003), On a Pale Horse (2005), and A Generation of Vipers (2007).

Priestess

Priestess is a Canadian stoner rock band formed in 2003 by Mikey Heppner (vocals/guitar), Mike Dyball (bass), Vince Nudo (vocals/drums), and Dan Watchorn (vocals/guitar).

Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band from Leyton in east London, formed in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. Since their inception, the band's discography has grown to include a total of thirty-six albums: fifteen studio albums; ten live albums; four EPs; and seven compilations.

Pissing Razors

Pissing Razors was an American groove metal band originally formed in the mid 90s and disbanded in 2004. One of my favourite bands, and in my opinion one of the most underrated.

Exodus

Exodus is an American thrash metal band formed in 1980 in Richmond, California. Spanning a career of over 30 years, Exodus has gone through numerous lineup changes, two extended hiatuses, and the deaths of two former band members. Guitarist Gary Holt remains the only constant member of the band, appearing on all their releases.

Dublin Death Patrol

Dublin Death Patrol (DDP) is an American thrash metal band formed in 2006 by Testament singer Chuck Billy and former Legacy and Exodus singer Steve Souza.
The band began as a 7 piece with Souza and Chuck Billy on vocals, Chuck's brother Andy Billy, Greg Bustamante, and Steve Robello on guitar, Willy Lange on bass, and Dan Cunningham on drums. During the recording process of the album in 2007 the band added 3 more members to the fold, Troy Luccketta on drums/percussion, Steve Souza's brother John Souza on bass, and Phil Demmel on guitar. They made one more change after the album adding their 11th member, Eddie Billy on bass- the third of the Billy brothers in the band.

Testament

Testament is an American thrash metal band from Berkeley, California, formed in 1983. They are often credited as one of the most popular bands of the 1980s thrash metal scene. In the 29 years since its inception, Testament has had numerous lineup changes, and guitarist Eric Peterson has been the only constant member, although the band currently also features two of its original members, Alex Skolnick (guitarist) and Greg Christian (bass). Chuck Billy replaced former singer Steve Souza in 1986, prior to the recording of their first studio album, The Legacy, and has been a member of the band since.

Goatsnake

Goatsnake is an American doom/stoner/southern metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1996 after the disbanding of The Obsessed. After The Obsessed's disbanding, the rhythm section consisting of Guy Pinhas (former bassist of the Dutch stonerband Beaver) on bass and Greg Rogers on drums began jamming with guitarist Greg Anderson (Thorr's Hammer, Burning Witch, Sunn O)))). They soon found a vocalist in Pete Stahl (Scream, Wool, Earthlings?, Desert Sessions). Goatsnake recorded and released two 7" EPs in 1998 and were featured on several metal compilations. They released their debut full-length, 1, in 1999 on Man's Ruin Records/Rise Above Records.

The Company Band is a rock supergroup featuring Clutch frontman Neil Fallon, Fireball Ministry frontman James Rota, CKY drummer Jess Margera, Guitarist Dave Bone, and Fu Manchu bassist Brad Davis.

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster is an American, Southern heavy metal band formed in 2004 in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2005, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster signed to Mono Vs Stereo and released their self-titled debut album. The band name and concept are based on the legend of the criminal gang of Ma Barker and her sons, noting that evil lifestyles will be met with divine justice.

Spiritual Beggars

Spiritual Beggars is a hard rock/stoner metal band from Halmstad, Sweden, formed by Michael Amott, who is known from Arch Enemy, Carcass and Carnage. Great band!!!

Blind Dog

Blind Dog was awesome stoner rock/metal band from Sweden. Formed when Tobias Nilsson and Joakim Thell needed a drummer for a party gig. Thomas Elenvik was called in to do one gig but the band stuck together since they discovered that everything worked so well. Unfortunately band disbanded in 2008.

Godsized

Godsized is a four-piece English rock band. Formed in 2008, the band name their influences as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and the alcoholic beverage Jagermeister. Kerrang! called them "cut from the same cloth" as Black Label Society (who toured Europe with Godsized as their support in 2011). Metal Hammer magazine said they have "what it takes to be the next British metal band to make an impact on a global scale."

Fireball Ministry

Fireball Ministry is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1999. Nice piece of heavy/stoner playing. Worth to listen.

The Sword

The Sword is an American heavy metal band that formed in Austin, Texas, in 2003. Since its inception the band has comprised vocalist and guitarist John "J. D." Cronise, guitarist Kyle Shutt and bassist Bryan Richie, and since October 2011 has included drummer Santiago "Jimmy" Vela III. Awesome music!!!

Dixie Witch

Dixie Witch is a Texas based hard rock power trio formed by guitarist Clayton Mills, drummer/vocalist Trinidad Leal, and bassist/vocalist Curt Christensen in the fall of 1999. The band quickly gained popularity throughout Texas though successful regional touring and released their self-produced debut album "Into the Sun" on Brainticket Records in 2001.

Joe Bonamassa

Joe Bonamassa (born May 8, 1977) is an American blues rock guitarist and singer. He began his career playing guitar in the band Bloodline, which featured the offspring of several famous musicians (such as Miles Davis, Robby Krieger and Berry Oakley of The Allman Brothers Band). Really amazing guy!!!

The Quill

The Quill are a Swedish stoner rock/heavy metal band. The Quill was formed in the early 1990s by singer Magnus Ekwall, guitarist Christian Carlsson, drummer George Atlagic, organist Anders Haglund and bassist Peter Holm.

Hermano

Hermano is an American stoner rock band, formed in 1998 by producer Dandy Brown as a side project in 1998, the original lineup consisted of vocalist John Garcia (Kyuss, Unida, Slo Burn), bassist Dandy Brown, drummer Steve Earle (Afghan Whigs) and guitarists Mike Callahan (Earshot) and David Angstrom (Black Cat Bone, Supafuzz).

Trivium

Trivium is an American heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1999. Their combination of different metal genres like thrash, groove and metalcore with influences of bands such as Metallica, Machine Head, In Flames, Iron Maiden etc. giving us very fuckin heavy wall of sound. Great band!

Death Denied

Death Denied was formed in 2009 in Poland by friends who know each other from other music projects. The music is what tigers like the most, southern fucking metal!!! Motörhead

The living heavy metal legend from England, Motörhead! Formed in 1975 by bassist, singer and songwriter Ian Fraser Kilmister, professionally known by his stage name Lemmy, who has remained the sole constant member. One of the most recognizable bands in the world!

Kreator

Kreator is a thrash metal band from Essen, Germany, formed in 1978, but formalized in 1982 under the name Tormentor. They originally performed a speed metal style with Venom influences. Their style of music is similar to their compatriots Destruction and Sodom, the other two big German thrash metal bands. All three of these bands are often credited with helping pioneer death metal, by containing several elements of what was to become the genre. Kreator's work began in the vein of pure thrash metal but ventured into industrial and gothic from 1992 to 1999, before eventually returning to their classic thrash sound to date.

Clutch

Clutch is an American rock band from Germantown, Maryland, formed in 1990. Since its formation the band line-up has included Neil Fallon (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Tim Sult (lead guitar, backing vocals), Dan Maines (bass, backing vocals) and Jean-Paul Gaster (drums and percussion). To date, Clutch has released nine studio albums, and several rarities and live albums. They now own their own label, Weathermaker. Awesomenes of this band can't be described. Beards rules!!!

Pantera

Pantera was an American heavy metal band from Arlington, Texas. Formed by the Abbott brothers, Vinnie Paul (drums) and Dimebag Darrell (guitar) in 1981, bassist Rex Brown would join in late 1981 with vocalist Terry Glaze. Looking for a new and heavier sound, Pantera had Terry replaced in 1987 with Phil Anselmo as the new vocalist. THE ONE AND ONLY !!! PANTERA!!!

Orange Goblin

Orange Goblin, previously Our Haunted Kingdom, are a stoner metal band from the United Kingdom that formed in 1995. The band's lineup currently consists of singer Ben Ward, guitarist Joe Hoare, bassist Martyn Millard, and drummer Chris Turner.

Hellyeah

Hellyeah is an American heavy metal supergroup, consisting of Mudvayne vocalist Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett, Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell, Damageplan bassist Bob Zilla, and former Pantera, Damageplan and Rebel Meets Rebel drummer Vinnie Paul. HELLYEAH!!!

Tool

The one and only - Tool. Tool is an American rock/metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1990, the group's line-up has included drummer Danny Carey, guitarist Adam Jones, and vocalist Maynard James Keenan. Since 1995, Justin Chancellor has been the band's bassist, replacing their original bassist Paul D'Amour. Incredible band!!!

Fu Manchu

Fu Manchu is a Southern Californian stoner rock band, who released their debut single "Kept Between Trees" in 1990. Another cool stoner band, check it out!

Gov't Mule

Gov't Mule (pronounced Government Mule) is a Southern rock jam band formed in 1994 as an Allman Brothers Band side project by Warren Haynes and Allen Woody.

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Lynyrd Skynyrd is an American rock band best known for popularizing the Southern rock genre during the 1970s. Originally formed in 1964 as the "Noble Five" in Jacksonville, Florida. This band is a legend! 

Transport League

Transport League was stoner/southern metal band formed in Partille, Sweden in September 1994 by B-Thong singer Tony Jelencovich. The band was joined by Johan Reivén on bass (later in LOK, as a drummer) and the bassplayer of B-Thong, Lars Häglund, on drums.

Lord 13

Another great stoner band from Athens in Greece. LORD 13 were formed in 1999 by Dee (bass), Costas (drums), Jim (vocals, guitars) and John (guitars). Shortly after their first few lives they made a name for themselves as a high energy, live, heavy rock band. Bikes, chicks and heavy fuckin rock'n'roll!

Unida

Unida was an American stoner rock band that was formed after the dissolution of Kyuss and Slo Burn. The band originally consisted of John Garcia (vocals), Arthur Seay (guitar), Miguel Cancino (drums) and Dave Dinsmore (bass). Dinsmore was later replaced by Scott Reeder, who was in turn replaced by Eddie Plascencia. Paul Gray of Slipknot fame also played with the band as a touring bassist.
