Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott wanted to start a new band. The pair recruited former Halford guitarist Pat Lachman on vocals, and later Bob Zilla on bass. Damageplan released its debut album New Found Power in the United States on February 10, 2004, which debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200, selling 44,676 copies in its first week.

Corrosion of Conformity
Corrosion of Conformity (also known as C.O.C.) is an American metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina formed in 1982. For almost the majority of its existence, the band has consisted of guitarist Woody Weatherman, bassist Mike Dean (who left in 1987 but rejoined six years later), drummer Reed Mullin (who left in 2001 but rejoined nine years later) and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Pepper Keenan (who joined the band in 1989). After a hiatus in 2006, Corrosion of Conformity returned in 2010, without Keenan who is currently in Down (although it has been disputed whether Keenan has left the band).
On A Pale Horse
Jerry Spargur and Jeremy Easley formed a heavy/stoner metal band in 2001, On A Pale Horse. The band released three studio albums, Black is Not the Darkest Colour (2003), On a Pale Horse (2005), and A Generation of Vipers (2007).

Dublin Death Patrol
Dublin Death Patrol (DDP) is an American thrash metal band formed in 2006 by Testament singer Chuck Billy and former Legacy and Exodus singer Steve Souza.
The band began as a 7 piece with Souza and Chuck Billy on vocals, Chuck's brother Andy Billy, Greg Bustamante, and Steve Robello on guitar, Willy Lange on bass, and Dan Cunningham on drums. During the recording process of the album in 2007 the band added 3 more members to the fold, Troy Luccketta on drums/percussion, Steve Souza's brother John Souza on bass, and Phil Demmel on guitar. They made one more change after the album adding their 11th member, Eddie Billy on bass- the third of the Billy brothers in the band.
Testament
Testament is an American thrash metal band from Berkeley, California, formed in 1983. They are often credited as one of the most popular bands of the 1980s thrash metal scene. In the 29 years since its inception, Testament has had numerous lineup changes, and guitarist Eric Peterson has been the only constant member, although the band currently also features two of its original members, Alex Skolnick (guitarist) and Greg Christian (bass). Chuck Billy replaced former singer Steve Souza in 1986, prior to the recording of their first studio album, The Legacy, and has been a member of the band since.

Goatsnake
Goatsnake is an American doom/stoner/southern metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1996 after the disbanding of The Obsessed. After The Obsessed's disbanding, the rhythm section consisting of Guy Pinhas (former bassist of the Dutch stonerband Beaver) on bass and Greg Rogers on drums began jamming with guitarist Greg Anderson (Thorr's Hammer, Burning Witch, Sunn O)))). They soon found a vocalist in Pete Stahl (Scream, Wool, Earthlings?, Desert Sessions). Goatsnake recorded and released two 7" EPs in 1998 and were featured on several metal compilations. They released their debut full-length, 1, in 1999 on Man's Ruin Records/Rise Above Records.

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster is an American, Southern heavy metal band formed in 2004 in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2005, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster signed to Mono Vs Stereo and released their self-titled debut album. The band name and concept are based on the legend of the criminal gang of Ma Barker and her sons, noting that evil lifestyles will be met with divine justice.

Spiritual Beggars is a hard rock/stoner metal band from Halmstad, Sweden, formed by Michael Amott, who is known from Arch Enemy, Carcass and Carnage. Great band!!!
Blind Dog
Blind Dog was awesome stoner rock/metal band from Sweden. Formed when Tobias Nilsson and Joakim Thell needed a drummer for a party gig. Thomas Elenvik was called in to do one gig but the band stuck together since they discovered that everything worked so well. Unfortunately band disbanded in 2008.

Truckfighters is a rock band from Sweden. Their sound has been described as classic desert rock, similar to bands like Dozer, Fu Manchu (with whom they have toured), and Kyuss. Blending melodic song structure with heavy duty fuzz they are unique.
Godsized
Godsized is a four-piece English rock band. Formed in 2008, the band name their influences as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and the alcoholic beverage Jagermeister. Kerrang! called them "cut from the same cloth" as Black Label Society (who toured Europe with Godsized as their support in 2011). Metal Hammer magazine said they have "what it takes to be the next British metal band to make an impact on a global scale."

Dixie Witch is a Texas based hard rock power trio formed by guitarist Clayton Mills, drummer/vocalist Trinidad Leal, and bassist/vocalist Curt Christensen in the fall of 1999. Kreator is a thrash metal band from Essen, Germany, formed in 1978, but formalized in 1982 under the name Tormentor. They originally performed a speed metal style with Venom influences. Their style of music is similar to their compatriots Destruction and Sodom, the other two big German thrash metal bands. All three of these bands are often credited with helping pioneer death metal, by containing several elements of what was to become the genre. Kreator's work began in the vein of pure thrash metal but ventured into industrial and gothic from 1992 to 1999, before eventually returning to their classic thrash sound to date.

Formed by the Abbott brothers, Vinnie Paul (drums) and Dimebag Darrell (guitar) in 1981, bassist Rex Brown would join in late 1981 with vocalist Terry Glaze. Unida
Unida was an American stoner rock band that was formed after the dissolution of Kyuss and Slo Burn. The band originally consisted of John Garcia (vocals), Arthur Seay (guitar), Miguel Cancino (drums) and Dave Dinsmore (bass). Dinsmore was later replaced by Scott Reeder, who was in turn replaced by Eddie Plascencia. Paul Gray of Slipknot fame also played with the band as a touring bassist.
